I actually don't mind it as long as they don't kick people too much.

Didn't get the impression they were overly physical yesterday.

You know exactly what you will get from him. Its turgid but its upto teams like ours yo unlock it. I honestly thought after 1 - 0 we would get a bagful. Seems like the team thought that way too.
Worth noting again that it was another bottom end team we failed to raise our game for. I definitely think there's an issue with this.

There's room for all types of Football, it's just that some are more enjoyable to watch than others. They only got back into it when Allardyce decided to play an attacker further upfield rather than filling the midfield up. He came for a draw and got it.
If you're not sure what to do with the ball, just put it in the net, and we'll talk about the other options later... Bob Paisley.

Big Sam is definitely one who has “worked out Klopp” particularly when you look at the squads he’s had at his disposal when taking points from Jurgen’s teams over the years. Ugly as fuck anti football but like it or not, it works
Fair play to him, for getting his tactics sorted and squad doing what he wanted in such a short time.

It's pathetic from us though unless trent/robertson provide, we lack creaitivty big time which shows against these sort of teams

It's all good having a hardworking midfield, but in these games you need a KDB, a fernandes, etc even a Grealish hopefully a Thiago

we barely shoot outside the box too, which can be a issue, wish fabinho was in midfield you never know, yesterday could of been one of them games he scores a screamer/ a worldie of a pass over the back 4

we have nothing, to the side to the side, back to cb's

Midfield isn't good enough in these games.

It's strange after beating palace 7-0 we do this, palace aren't exactly normally a wide open game, but it's just one game, it was good but one game, I mean same with villa beating us, freak game.

It didn't help that we were bloody awful all over the pitch .If we were on even our B game we would've been out of sight after the first half.
They never led a finger on us the whole half. The turning point was when Matip went off. For whatever reason they came into the game and got a bit of confidence and scored from us fucking about at the back.

I'm getting a bit tired of us fucking about with posession around the back etc

    Why? especially v WBA

It's almost like we're lost at what to do at times and pass it back and forwards and back and sideways for the hell of it

Henderson had one of his sideway/backwards games yesterday

are we hoping one of the cb's will provide a direct route one style ball, worldie of a pass every time or what?

Apart from 7-0 v palace, are football isn't as "exciting" to watch anymore as it use to be in my eyes, not sure if that's because missing the crowds- or other things or actually our style

Someone shooting from distance would be a start. He may not score but the ball could hit someone and then we score.
We seem to want to walk it into the net, a bit hard when there's 10 men behind the ball.

For some reason it works for Sam but lets be honest it hasnt really worked against us/City for the last 3 years.

We won most games last year and several tried it.

Its being passed off as a masterclass like Mourinho against City but look at Spurs last 4 games it hasnt worked and he is now being questioned.

I get WBA trying it to some degree but Spurs its laughable.

The Fabulous one has a great shot on him, but it's difficult to get into range from CB.

It would help if players actually tried to force rather than place their shots. Hendo always tries to pick his spot perfectly rather than just whack it and see what happens.

Steve Nicol having a pop at Mane Salah and Firmino, saying they were the reason we didn't win. These ex players should know how hard it is to win a football match, no-one has a divine right to win any game. It's a good job the other penalty takers for Liverpool didn't follow his example in the 84 European Cup final, otherwise we would have lost it. He should also remember the amount of games those 3 have won for us down the years. Great player for us, but awful as a pundit.
