    Newcastle 0-3 Liverpool

    I'm probably going to regret not going with the seemingly popular 1-3, but I'm likely to pick the wrong score whichever way I go.

    Week 15 results

    The first round of Christmas fixtures arrived, and as such some may have been hoping that Santa had left them a bumper load of points under the tree this year. Whilst some would have been pleased, though not quite leaping around like a ten year old boy who has just unwrapped a PS5, a few others came away with a haul akin to receiving the usual pair of socks and bargain basement deodorant/shower gel set.

    The lucky person that unwrapped the metaphorical PS5 was week fifteen's winner Skyebo. He only got five correct results, but luckily for him in three of those five games he got the scoreline spot on, and as a result he top scored with eleven points and gets to stand atop of this week's podium. In joint second with some useful gift certificates, a nice pair of trainers, and a solid silver Liver Bird and accompanying chain were the Christmas table topper Reddownunder and Redebreck who each scored eight points.

    This week's special mentions go to Skyebo for getting three perfect scores, being the only person to get into double figures, and for being the only person to get the Arsenal v Chelsea score spot on. Dicko 1969 also gets a special mention as he was the only person to correctly predict the score for the Sheffield United v BS game.

    Week 15 scores

    Skyebo = 11 points (3 perfect scores and 2 correct results - Arsenal v Chelsea, Man C v Newcastle, Wolves v Spurs)

    Reddownunder = 8 points (2 perfect scores and 2 correct results - Man City v Newcastle, Wolves v Spurs)

    Redebreck = 8 points (1 perfect score and 5 correct results - Leicester City v Man U)

    Dicko1969 = 7 points (1 perfect score and 4 correct results - Sheffield Utd v Everton)

    Ianlfc = 6 points (1 perfect score and 3 correct results - Leicester City v Man U)

    Fayyazms = 6 points (6 correct scores)

    Joetan = 5 points (1 perfect score and 2 correct results - Wolves v Tottenham)

    Balinkay = 5 points (5 correct results)

    Kev0909 = 5 points (5 correct results)

    RedNoodle = 5 points (5 correct results)

    BlackSalmon = 4 points (4 correct results)

    Charliev = 4 points (4 correct results)

    Justme = 4 points (4 correct results)

    CCTV = 3 points (3 correct results)

    Current standings

    After everyone has recovered from their food comas and after tipple snoozes, they will find that there is a new name topping the league table, and that name is Skyebo. He sits proudly at the summit where he is a point ahead of last years champion Reddownunder, who he has displaced from the top spot. There is then a four point gap to Redebreck who is continuing his climb up the league, and he now finds himself in a CL spot. Charliev is bumped down a spot as a result, but he's still clinging onto a place in Europe's premier club competition, a point ahead of CCTV who falls three places this week, and he now occupies Balinkay's EL spot.

    Elsewhere not too much has changed, though Dicko1969 has halted his slide and has climbed back up two places.

    Skyebo = 95

    Reddownunder = 94

    Redebreck = 90

    Charliev = 89

    CCTV = 88

    Joetan = 85

    Fayyazms = 84

    Dicko1969 = 83

    Kev0909 = 83

    Balinkay = 81

    RedNoodle = 81

    Ianlfc = 79

    Justme = 77

    BlackSalmon = 62

    If you're not sure what to do with the ball, just put it in the net, and we'll talk about the other options later... Bob Paisley.
