    Fed up of it now. 60% adults fully vaccinated, 80% one jab, and the scientists say we're now into a third wave with a fourth wave this winter.

    More transmissible, basically double the chance of hospitalisation if you catch it and we have been continuously loosening restrictions.

    Seemed fairly inevitable to me.

    Well I agree it was inevitable, just like the autumn and winter lockdowns to come, that's their mindset, but it makes no sense to me.

    Seems more likely that the vaccine is driving the variant. That's what the official figures suggest (graph of vaccination / cases)
