When was the last time City bought anyone decent ? Their last few signings have been nothing to write home about.

I'm not sure, but given their need for an Aguero replacement, their effectively unlimited resources, and their links to Haaland's father, there is a good chance that not only are they interested in him, they have more 'clout' when it comes to any attempt to sign him.

If was a betting man (I wish I had a pound for every time I've said that tonight) I'd put money on him signing for either them or Real Madrid.

Thought Klopps presser strange in he said they knew what they were going to get playing Southampton that was no secret.Well if that's the case i would think we we should have been fully prepared for the style of game.
Our forwards were without any doubt our biggest problem today.

Thought he did alright. Bemoaned our final ball/composure and put their goal down to Trent missing the header, which happens.
Called out the nonsense around the refs. Mariner and the speed with which var was done and dusted over our penalty. Cited manu penalty count. Ridiculed the media around Salah/Mane too, he didn't say it but if you saw the super soft foul called against Trent and the no foul called on Salah been choked 1st half it was shocking. Probably should have started earlier.

A good blend of credit to soton, acknowledging our struggles and a good lambasting of the officials and media smears against our two Salah/Mane
