Would do his confidence some good if Klopp keeps him at Anfield this season.
He’s looked much improved in pre season, stronger on the ball, better runs, better touch and all round game in fact.
Certainly changed my mind about giving him a chance this season

He's s very tidy player. Will always struggle physically against the likes of West Ham or Burnley, but that doesn't rule him out of being able to contribute.

Many players look good in pre-season often or not because we're against a weak side or, a weak fielded side.

what makes you think he can suddenly turn class for us when he couldn't even start at southampton?

    Christ we're desperate

It’s more hope than expectation. He looks bang in form. The whole squad does really. Here’s hoping for a very fast start to the season.

I still have a slight giggle when someone on here referred Miamino as Minamoto

Let’s be honest Kev, we looked pants against a lot of weak teams last season and they weren’t friendlies.

I’d keep him for sure. He has that something about him.

I think he's been "written off" too soon.

He joined a league winning team, during a pandemic, from another country.

It does take players time to acclimatize. Then started to play behind closed doors. He has had good games for us and for Southampton. He has a lot to prove but there is a player in there - he showed previously. There was a sustained period last season where the entire team was underperforming. New players coming into the team have no "earned" credibility from fans - so by being underwhelming they end up attracting more stick

He may not be a regular starter but I think he could be a really really strong squad player/impact player that can play in a number of positions.

Spot on Vin. Worry is, he might want regular football and he’s not guaranteed that with us
