Who is to say whether 'making demands' would get him/us anywhere? However all I know is that if one manager can/could have done that without putting their job at risk, it is/was Klopp.
This is so right. There's no way this group of players could maintain the same standard. The team is crying out for a refresh, plus the lack of skilled replacements has let a few players become complacent. Klopp's decision making is also under the microscope - Origi in a game that we needed to win to build confidence? Not trusting Nat Philips or a.n.other young CB over many games - swapping and changing CBs (not mention playing Jota in dead rubber). Klopp and team have lost their swagger - can't see anything other than a grind until the end of the season. The State Arab bank employee team will win it at a saunter - I can't see any silverware this season because FSG will not spent a dime until the summer.

It comes from the players wanting it. If the players didn't want it against Barca, we weren't getting squat
Liverpool support and what happens at Anfield is like nowhere else. Okay maybe a few other stadiums in world football. I agree that we are white but the Andield roar mixed with Klopp has been something else these last 5 years. Shouldn't be undervalued.

I've always had a preference for Haaland or Sancho over Mbappe - Sancho, admittedly, because it's been reported that he would prefer to come to us over the Mancs if he were to come back to England.

Also, in both their cases, I'd have to imagine Klopp's former links with the club would help us get a better deal.
No offence, but if anyone believes any of those players are coming to us, they need to give their head a serious wobble.

Did anyone actually think we'd score tonight?

After the first 30 mins I just thought oh here we go again

you just knew it wasn't going to happen, same old same old...

One thing that did surprise was Allison giving the penalty away and actually losing, I thought we'd get another 0-0 draw at least to burnley of all teams..

no goals in 4 jesus wept

He should join this forum, he'd fit in very well.

If you're not sure what to do with the ball, just put it in the net, and we'll talk about the other options later... Bob Paisley.

Besides which, our poor run of form had already began while we were on of the only clubs still allowed to have fans in the stadium.

It's just a lazy excuse at this point.
The fans are supposed to give you that little bit of extra in games you're looking like you'll win, but just can't seem to close the deal.
Not getting you all the way over while you look clueless the entire game.

The problem with us is that during this run we simply haven't looked like we'd score even if we kept playing for another 100 minutes over regulation time.
That's not the kind of situation that having fans in the stadium would help with.
    CD gets it!

Honestly sick and tired of all the excuses "fatigue, the refs are against us, we have no fans" Apart from injuries, there isn't any acceptable excuse apart from the players aren't playing anymore.

Every other side has the same fixture congestion, has the same fatigue and is lacking fans.

    There's that too.

No chance he turns down an opportunity to go play for his childhood hero Zidane at the biggest club in the world.

And yes, I'm just not comfortable having a 400k a week player on the books no matter how good he is, and I'm actually glad the club is standing its ground in contract negotiations with Gini and not offering anything that would break our wage structure.

Just look at the nightmare the Arsenal heirarchy went through with their overpaid Mesil Osut situation.
Can't be dealing with that sort of mess here.

I agree too, sick of the excuses

even Klopp keeps making them, for example saying about utd playing how they did with "world class players"

He might have a point if we didn't fail against relegation fodder/championship standard teams and lose/draw/fail to score again v them

we're just lucky utd was chicken shits and didn't go for the win

I think some teams are liking it without pressure of a crowd but our team isnt one of them.

I said BCD/shorter season before a ball was kicked suits City the style they play.

United are getting results but since lockdown have had a huge helping hand on VAR that is a fact.

Burnley are doing what Burnley do they are the new Stoke no sour grapes but I watch em 2-3 times a season.
