He dived the right way, but generally speaking, Alisson is not a good penalty saving goalkeeper.
The general rule of thumb is usually that good open play goalkeepers tend to be poor at saving penalties while shaky open play keepers can often be good penalty saving goalkeepers.
I think it has to do with the amount of time one has to think while in open play versus going by instinct while trying to save a penalty.
Goalkeeper who fall into the former category (like Alli) have a tendency to overthink during penalties rather than just go by instinct and reflexes.
