That's our collective low self-confidence from the last number of weeks talking I think to be fair.
If we were watching a neutral Champion's League match and Leipzig were "Barcelona" while Liverpool were "Bayern" we would be sitting here saying "Bayern largely controlled that and should edge the game out" - that first half wasn't perfect, but I'll definitely take it.

Big issue for me has been midfield, physically smaller/softer than their counterparts, not done a whole lot in possession or out of it.
Not many options on the bench really.
Can see Jones getting hooked early.
Maybe ox left in a 4231 Salah Cf, Bobby 10 and Mane right later in the half.

Really good half, Leipzig continually giving us the ball in their half. Only criticism as ever, we haven’t converted any of the several excellent positions we’ve found ourselves in, to a single goal.
So for all that excellent football it’s all still level and despite being totally dominated they are still in it.
