Can’t believe they will be that shite in the second leg. Hwang looked sharp when he came on but other than that they were shocking.

That showed the difference between the Bundesliga and the Premier League, other than Bayern
Which makes me wonder about Dortmund, If sancho was so good.....

And haaland but he's obviously the main guy

At least the press was there. It's been missing for most of the season. Makes such a difference.

Kabak and Trent had very good games.

What did anyone think of making two subs (rather than maybe one) when Ox and Shaq came on?

A smart move to prevent injury? Or too big a disruption to chemistry?

It doesn't "matter" at all of course given the result - but I prefer looking at stuff like that when we have won a match - the critical thinking is generally more constructive/balanced.
Ox was gash and Shaq made little headway.

Thought Bobbh was doing well at that point in the game playing deeper as a midfielder. Thiago got a lot of slack but did alright tonight imo.

Going forward we'll need a bit more from midfield, if we can get Fabinho back it will be a Godsend.

Really disappointed we still tried playing out from the back so much and intricately, instead of more directly.
Bit snobbish imo, might just have to accept what we have and play to its strengths.

Much better second half from Jones

I don’t know why players do that. Extremely infuriating watching him play overall Eggy

Has the look of a player who knows his time is up soon, with our midfield issues he's only getting minutes here and there. Its all over for him I think.

Can’t have shown anything in training for a while.

Klopp has had 2 key midfielders at CB - we have seen Mané unable to play games too - yet still Ox has been benched.

Unless something major shifts he is toast.

Yep it'll be good to get him back so we can get Hendo back into midfield and get that improved distribution, the switches and balls over the top going and get that press even better and the counter press and winning second balls

Kabak did alright, looks a bit slow and might have to be a less expensive side with him in the 11, we don't have many other options imo, need Fab or Hendo to add some steel into the midfield.
All in all I think we could use the Atletico template from here on out.

I was providing an alternative opinion to the one that was posted. It illustrates how people can be watching the same match/players but have a completely different opinion on them to somebody else.

More the physical side of the game imo, bit lightweight in there without either, not running their ability with the ball.
