I think he is off this summer. I can’t stand the thought, but feel it. Most likely my natural pessimism.

Still.....with Gerry Cardinale (20 years of Goldman Sachs) buying into the conglomerate, following his new found “love” of European Soccer, it will surely be an irrelevance either way.

In the light of missing his mum's funeral, big Ali being the same. I also think alot of footballers will seriously think twice about playing abroad.

He's probably seen that he could get the Germany job if it becomes available, and that the club might be seeing Gerrard as an option to replace him. Probably total nonsense and just lazy journalism.
If you're not sure what to do with the ball, just put it in the net, and we'll talk about the other options later... Bob Paisley.

Vacant Germany job ( perhaps taking on more meaning since his mums death ?) and the pressure he is under with us and a very uneven playing field.

That plus a deep rooted fear of life at the club without him.

Klopp will stay he made a comment the other day "When fans return i'll be on fire"

Doesnt sound like a man leaving to me.

He may leave after next season though who knows but if he does he wont be short of offers.

The Gerrard stuff is pure paper talk.
I wouldn't be surprised if this season has made him weigh things up, he's always put family and personal life before football. That pitted with how this season has gone and the vile way the UK press and football media go about things would be understandable, I don't see him going before his contract though.

We all know what the media are like. If there's no story there, they'll make one up.
