We'll do well to see a better save this season. And as Miller says at 39 even more remarkable how he got down for it.

F/T 1-1 but Milan really should have won that.
True, but they got the away goal. Not a terrible position to be in. Look a really promising outfit.

Rangers gave as good as they got in the second half, it could have gone either way.
    Second leg should be tasty.

If that was a world cup final then I think it might be rated as one of the best saves ever!
It had gotten behind him but somehow he managed to claw it back and then hold onto it. Plus less than a minute previous he had pulled off another amazing save to palm out a ball heading for the top corner from a wicked deflection that made the ball loop up then down.
Sensational stuff - well done Alan!!

Villa with their umpteenth deflected goal of the season take the lead with 5 minutes left on the clock
    Newcastle 0-1 Villa

Just the sort of luck that has been sadly lacking for us in our bad run. That and a distinct lack of penalties that should have been given.

Very well deserved equaliser in the 4th minute of injury time for Newcastle who threw absolutely everything at it.

I went away for a few minutes to get a drink in the hope that by the time I came back Newcastle would have somehow managed to conjure up an equaliser, and what do you know, they actually did find the net, meaning that for once a late goal has won me three points for a change, rather than costing me them, which is what usually happens.

Well that's all my luck used up for the rest of the year.

    We stay in 8th place.
Can't remember the last season where so many other teams' games were so relevant to us.
