All prejudice aside, it is a mystery to me how man utd are second in the prem. They don't even look like they are coached with any kind of plan or strategy. Milan look energetic and well organised from back to front. They could easily be three or four up.
Having said that, utd will probably jam it somehow. Late penalty or such.
The rule was changed, and a few days ago it was apparently changed back to what it was, so who knows?
As far as I'm concerned it hit the upper part of his arm, whilst it was down by his side. So it was not 'controlled' or 'directed' by him.
As I've said on quite a few occasions, given the seemingly 'random' nature of decisions that are being given, you might as well have done with it and just have the referee toss a coin to decide whether something did or did not occur.
Even Scholes in the BT Sport studio says it wasn’t hand ball. Whichever rules they are playing to, it has always actually had to make contact with a hand or arm to be deemed handball.
Unless we are reverting back to the old rules, were anything goes at Old Trafford as long as it favours Utd.
Have some of THAT you Manc slags!
Man Utd 6 attempts 2 on target
Milan 16 attempts 5 on target.
F/T 1-1 but Milan really should have won that.
Two great saves by Rangers goalie in last minute of normal time keeps score at 1-1. Good result.
Aye, 39 year old Alan McGregor.
Rangers gave as good as they got in the second half, it could have gone either way.
Second leg should be tasty.
