Its been a nice refreshing performance. Enjoyable to watch and some excellent performances. Fab,Thiago and Gini have looked good and it bodes well for when Hendo is back.
    Fab MotM for me.

Who knows how many of them are missing out and this is their last opportunity to pad that little extra on those wages.

Also just goes to show what a massive disaster it was for us losing our CB's and being forced to play Fabs at the back given how much he's shored up the midfield today and even made Thiago actually look a real player.
All of that mate, but some of the recent performances have been lazy regardless of personnel. We’re actually trying tonight, even now, when the tie is affectively over, we’re still closing down all over the pitch.

Tsimikas and Oxlade on for Robbo and Mane respectively

Who do most people here fancy for a quarter-final opponent?

    (Dangerous question; yeah, I know)

Porto wouldn't be a bad shout, I reckon.
At least hoping by then we have Hendo back.

If we’re a different animal in the CL? Play like this with conviction? Not bothered who we get

Fabinho made the difference to our overall play today. Agree with Tees, motm followed closely by Phillips.

Fabinho turns it over high up the pitch and Salah could do better with it, fulltime 2-0, lovely stuff

Dare I say it, even Origi has looked (**gasp**) ...class, tonight.

Amazing what a little bit of confidence coursing through the veins of the team does to everyone's play.
Haven't seen the Gaffer smiling like that in weeks.
