Ok , we know that our two centre backs are lacking for pace, but for the rest it's looked like a much better balance in the team. Thiago and Fabinho works well together. Fab has been oustanding. Thiago maybe his best half since Stamford Bridge.

Really good half, except we should have scored 4 at least and be home and dry by now, Fabinho's added presence in midfield, but he still needs to be really careful charging to try and press everything and leaving them with 4 or 5 v 3 against our defence at times, and be a fucking damned site quicker getting back when they do manage to play it forward beyond him as that's happened 4 or 5 times, it's great when Fab gets there, but when they just go short sideways and then forward, it's not at all clever
Over to Jurgen to work his HT magic as ever and make sure we're just a bit better second half and put a 2 or 3 of our chances away

It's great to see a dominant midfield with Thiago having his best game by far. He just needs a minder in there beside him and he looks a different player.

Though if we do get through our forwards are going to have to finish of the chances if we are to progress. We can't rely on the 2 centrehalfs to keep clean sheets.
