The Weekend’s Other Games 13/03/21

We are on our last chance in the last of the last chance saloons this weekend. Fail to win at Wolves on Monday and even the most optimistic of LFC optimists wearing the rosiest of rose tinted spectacles will have given up on top four.

Well the weekend has started well for us, really thought Chelsea would be picking up 3 points this weekend but as with Villa last night, they couldn’t take the three points. So that’s two top four competitors played, two dropped two points.
Looking for Burnley to stifle the Bitters later and Arsenal to stop José in his tracks tomorrow and we can look forward to Monday night’s game having some meaning.

Leeds 0-0 Chelsea

I see we are playing last again..Some people may say its because we played in mid-week. But if this had of been an important game. No matter if we had played Wednesday evening. The TV companies would have played us at 12:30 Sat away to Wolves.

Honestly think our chances of it are at 5% or less and I'd say our chances of winning number 7 are slightly better than our Top Four chances.

To be chronically losing so many games and to then be expected to claw back at least 5 points on Chelsea AND be doing better than West Ham, Aston Villa, Everton AND Tottenham in the closing 9 matches - that's a lot.

BUT - we just have to try and get points on the Board. See where we end up. Never know.
