Why the **** has Klopp selected Firmino? I like him, but he's been dire as of late, whilst Jota has been on fire recently.

Another baffling decision from the gaffer.
    Hardly a creative midfield either.
If you're not sure what to do with the ball, just put it in the net, and we'll talk about the other options later... Bob Paisley.

The only reason I could try to justify is that maybe it's too many games in a short space of time for him after his injury?
It was expected from Klopp. Not odd nor justified. Jota from a brilliant international break that was preceded by him coming back for us and scoring. Dropped for the limp irreplaceable blue eye Firmino.

When did we last have a creative midfield? It has been 'functional' at best for quite a while now, and is one of the main reasons we tend to struggle whenever our front three aren't at the races.

Not great after having a pop at Southgate for dropping TAA.

    Alisson

    Trent Phillips Kabak Robertson

    Thiago Fabinho Milner

    Salah Firmino Mane

Be a great day for our lads to chalk up another win, not at all sure about that midfield, far stronger bench than we've had in a long long while, let's get the win

Jones has been our best performer in recent times. been dropped.. I dont know whos gonna break forward from midfield in this 11. If Firmino does his dropping off to the half way line. Dont see how we will threaten their goal. But time will tell

I think it is entirely apparent Jota and Gini are being saved for the Champions League, I expect they'll play some part tonight

oooh that's a classic, nothing like a Liverpool forum to vastly overrate one of our young talents
