25 foot ethernet cable all the way upstairs is where it's at Noods...

Don't go there. Unfortunately I've had serious issues with those I live with when it comes to trailing an ethernet cable a few feet into my bedroom, never mind certain a-holes using the microwave (which is right next to my router) on a regular basis and even when I've told them not to (namely due to trying to watch us) despite being told by numerous people (they don't believe anything/anybody except what they do/do not know) that it interferes with wifi.

Alas life and everybody in it is intent on constantly ****ing me over.
