It's been pretty frustrating in that department.

Salah hits Courteous in the legs.
Mane doesn't launch himself at Trent's left-footer cross.
    Salah balloons one.
    Gini balloons one.
Milner has a good shot from range that you expect Courtois to save.

5 decent chances, a couple of them more than decent (Torres or Suarez bury them) and sadly, no goal.

Haven't conceded though. Get one before the 75th, throw everything at the last 15 minutes.

Think we'll see Thiago and Jota at some stage for sure. Ox, Origi or Shaq probably the 3rd option.

I don't really get the appeal from his loyal rabid fanbase here of people who really really want him to stay.

The club's offered him what they can - which is probably more than most club's will give him.
He thinks he's better than that.

On this proof (along with many others during Premier League games), the club's got it spot on on not budging on their offer and letter whichever Barcelona or what other outfit sign him when he leaves.

Two great moments a couple of years ago in the Champions League with some spontaneous (and really rare) Premier league goals,....faaar too infrequent to justify worth writing home about. All of which just makes him a slightly more glorified Origi.

Well we absolutely bosses that. We are only not in front because Wijnaldum and Salah couldn’t hit a cow’s arse with a banjo.
So let’s not have any crap about how Real have managed it because we had 3 clear chances. The fact they are at 0-0 is by good fortune not their good play.

In the first leg we were outclassed, we totally bossed that first half and got everything right but the finishing, a much better performance.

Get one, keep them out for 5 minutes then go at them and they might just cave in.

Good half, more of the same boys.

Our lack of confidence is there for all to see. Always looking for another pass. Completely unable to get the ball within that bloody great plastic white rectangle. We could and should be at least 2 goals up
I bet you can squeal like a pig!

Real Madrid have been very conservative and like most of the season our finishing is costing us dear. Forget VVD injury, our finishing has cost us everything this season.

Madrid we’re there for the taking in the first half. Not be able to put chances away will lead us next season to Thursday night bleeding football.

What about that non pass from Firmino to Trent on the right. Simple pass to the right and its easily stopped by the Madrid player. We have no centre forward at all. everything is down the sides. You cant rely on our midfielders..So basically shocking.
Miller will be taken off for Jota.. Firmino will stay on. hes a centre forward.. but hes allowed not score goals its part of his job not to score them

Milner, Mane and Trent the men of our match so far imo.

2 or 3 occasions where he was too hesitant in the final third.
I can see Jota coming on for Robbo, Milner to left back.

Trent is on something today, maybe Milner’s Ribena? Great half? chance creation wise. Criminal passing and finishing is the norm for us
