I get what you're saying, but the change in format is so different to what went before and weighted in such a way that 12 of the sides are ever-presents, which wasn't the case before, make this a somewhat different kettle of Fish to me, though I can appreciate some will disagree with me there - it's the sheer degree/extent of the change.

I doubt it will happen. Theres too much opposition now. Still leaves the big clubs with all the cards though and UEFA playing blindfolded. The level of mistrust will be immense too as UEFAs president has already named and shamed a couple of people including Woodward and the Italian dude. .
Woodward is a fucking snake. No wonder he's never been sacked, he's been in on this from the off with the Glazers.

I wonder if the Nike deal hinged on this? Or that Redbird capital investment.

UEFA has always cared about fans but somehow still kept 50% of the tickets for the Champions League Finals and gave them to CEOs, politicians and people in the board of the Federations.

    Their cry arsing is EMBARRASSING.

Been ripping clubs off for years.

BT? oh please. remember raising prices? you really care about the fans??

To all the bozo rent a mobs. OUR club and all others have lost money. OUR club alongside man utd and arsenal are the reason football even exists in this country.

if clubs go under due to the dire situation they’re in, THERE IS NO MORE LFC. ergo NO MORE FOOTBALL.

you think uefa is going to come and save our club? football?

put down the beer and engage your brain. that thing you were born with instead of being led by the nose by vermin like gary neville who’s facade even klopp saw through on tv.

    embarrassing.

Very interesting point. We have no idea what's been going on behind the scenes.

It's so indicative of how deranged the situation is that UEFA, the embodiment of corrupt-to-the-core, look like the "good guys" in a basic black-and-white narrative.

This whole thing is such a mess. Very much hope it doesn't happen and the momentum against it has certainly built quickly, but if there's enough money/appetite from the business people, it won't be easy to halt a financial Monolith to start broadcasting this shit-show.

Imagine for example, instead of Sky or BT Sport (and let's be real here, if Sky had the rights to this already they'd have had an editor knock up a flashy ad for it already in the background) you get someone like Disney come in and say "yep, we'll televise this" - it's so worrying.

In a stand-off, UEFA probably crack first and we see compromises that make us all feel uncomfortable. It's just.....eugh, I don't know.

Will be interesting to see what happens from the Government actually. There's a lot to digest.

What irks me is that Klopp has come out and is not in favour of the new super league. If it doesn't go through. Sadly it will be him and the club that will suffer when it comes to funds in the Summer.. Yet we just signed a huge deal with Nike and the other lot whos name escapes me now..

But its the fact he talks sense that is most annoying...lol
