I love Sky Sports repeatedly showing Villas 7-2 defeat of LFC as if it's representative of the league and its "competitive" nature about to be destroyed by the ESL. Whatever your position, there's no white-hats in this debate - except the fans and no one's listened to them for a while (with the exception of our owners about ticket pricing but that seems the definition of a pyrrhic victory now).

They seem to know enough about the sport imo to get some success.

My take:
If no answer by the weekend from the Big 6, relegate them at end of season to the Championship
Bring up the 6 below the promotion spots, your Bournemouth's Brentford's and Cardiff's
You also know that 3 of those 6 (maybe LFC) will not make it back into the Prem the following year, which is nice.

Nobody knows who exactly said it but someone has from one of the 12 teams but the likes of us are legacy/old/real fans.

They want "new" fans they say young but I took it to mean overseas fans $$$$.

I just dont like how UEFA are joining in with putting the boot in they are just angry as they wont get the money.

I mean that pratt yesterday was talking about merit and then their format has two wildcard teams for new CL in other words BIG TEAMS who dont qualify via league position.

What is probably "legacy" is people believing these clubs are for the domestic fans or the community (alone). The transformation into global businesses will be complete with the drive for "new" markets. A couple of hundred thousand fans in UK won't equate to tens of millions prepared to buy highlights or games.
