    Most influential player

I realised recently the player I most don't want to be injured has become Trent AA

We have many good players, they are all capable of playing really well. And the team can now grind out goals and results through sheer determination, organisation and hard work.. but the magic is all coming from the right side now. Those crosses and telling clearances upfield are the difference between a well oiled machine and a dynamic that goes from steady play to sudden attack in the matter of a second.

Now that Salah is a bit quiet it becomes more obvious - look at the highlights last night, there was a number of serious chances created by TAA, including the brilliant second goal. This is more or less normal service when he's playing now. Take that away and we may look solid but significantly less dangerous.

So here's my list of our most influential players - what do you think?

    Trent Alexander-Arnold
    Mo Salah
    Virgil VanDjik
    Alisson
Sir what is going on.. things is not going according to plan. u promiss early signing. noting happen. Man u 3 player now

    Spot on Ian.

I can get with the first 4 but Fabinho and Thiago come in 5 and 6 for me.

Results would seem in line with this for more than a year now.

Hendo is defo key but more for his manager on the pitch qualities.

Any other answer than VVD is just wrong...

The difference he has made since he has come in can not be overstated. Completely changed the game from the moment he walked through the door. We went from an excititing mess to a complete unit.

Hyypia aside, he's the only 'proper' defender we've had in 30 years.

Robbos been more influential this calendar year than Trent.

    In no particular order:
Alisson, cb 1 & 2, Robbo, Fab, Diaz, Jota

Diaz has barely featured much as yet but also agree. How can Jota not be on that top list? And yes Robbo has been superb in the face of the Tsimikas threat

I think Jozza is right Van Djik is king.

The good thing is everyone has different opinions and that is because we have lots of good players.

I dont miss the days of Torres going off for Ngog !

    All about opinions,
Jota scored a lot of big goals, opening goals, winners, levellers and no penalties in his tally.
He's a nuisance off the ball too.

Robbos been exceptional and ferocious since the start of the new year.
Last night were his passing/crossing a smidge better he could have added a lot of assists.
In terms of captaincy at the minute, he's a real captain/leader out there.
