May be I stand alone on this but I do not want a super-rich owner with loads of dough. That would put us alongside those super-rich sides with all the criticism that goes their way.
I much prefer the way we are going about things.
Frugal and astute signings, good teamwork and player development and super manager and fair play awards.
And also wear loser's medals with grace and dignity when it comes to it.
The Liverpool way, as Shanks would have liked.

Good for you but if you think Shanks would prefer a wet profit seeking twat like Henry over Roman you are batshit bonkers

Don't remember seeing it bit if true it's crap!
Hope that trend does not continue
Watched countless finals, Olympics tennis cricket too.
So you made it to the finals but lost on the day to the better player/team.
Nothing wrong with some dignity in defeat.
What's going to happen if this trend continues?
Olympic silver/bronze medallists not standing on the podium?
All those medals are quite an achievement in my eyes after years of hard work.

Come on Critch, come on Blackpool, get this play off final won, then you can take 3 or 4 of our young lads on loan and continue their development

Would you be in favour of a podium in football? winners and losers?

In the Olympics there's 8 competitors in the final and the best 3 individuals get to stand on a podium but it's not as polarising, or humiliating.

Second place losers medals are just another gimmick that football could do without. Almost as bad as a winners medal for doing fuck all.

    Don't get your point Daffydd.
There has always been a podium in football whether it be the Wembley steps or a hastily built low stage for the winners of a competition at even very levels.
Being at a top level competition and losing at the final stretch is no humiliation.
Losing, depending on your age and ability should be a trigger for your response but you have done so much to get thus far . So many do not make it that far. Do not disgrace the moment that so many would treasure!
Do you want that behaviour to kick off in primary school?
