It’s really not an excuse for West Brom conceding our first goal. They were all back behind the ball AND they won the ball back but didn’t clear it, instead playing it back towards their own goal.
Don’t agree the free kick caused the goal.

Their disallowed goal however was a massive let off for us.

I thought that on their second too but player right in front of Alisson. Has to be ruled out. In offside position and blocking keepers view.

So clear from that game today how much we need Edwards to wrap the deal for De Paul up asap, we desperately that more creative, attacking and goalscoring mid for these kind of games, we've needed it for 4 seasons, just the players we've signed for the role haven't been good enough

Think it shows we need Malen too, better dribbler than any of our forwards too and has power and pace to just burst through the channels with the ball

Addressing our long standing issue in breaking sides down who are intent on defending needs to be urgently addressed this summer

Don’t think WBA were set out on defending today 19. They played a pretty high line and pressed us often and knew our weaknesses.

You’re right about needing to break down bus parkers with decent players. Question is, can Klopp alternate the tactics when it’s not going our way ?
