Well, I only saw the highlights, which you can't tell that much from, but it looked as though we were better second half when we went 433 from the highlights, couple of trademark Henderson medium to long balls to release the forwards too, which was nice Shame about the pen though

Grealish has actually grown on me a little in the last 2 games, I think Ward Prowse should be going too to be honest

The CBs are shocking, they'll have to play a lot better than that, Shaw was absolutely shocking today too

Revised line up of those currently available

    Johnson

    James Stones Mings Chilwell

    Bellingham Henderson Foden

    Sancho Kane Grealish

Thought Grealish did pretty well on the left and he's better on the left because that's where he's used to playing and he actually surprised me by doing well on the left of the 3 when England went 433, can see great potential for some very good link up between Grealish and Foden or Mount, and either looking to go beyond Grealish and the ball going back to Hendo to release them.

I'm hoping Ward-Prowse goes, he's be my RCM in my line up, he's only not in there because I'm not sure if he's going, but he knows how to press and his set pieces are very good and he and Hendo in there would give England two midfielders who can actually release the forwards or Foden, Mount or Chilwell making a run beyond Grealish, Ward-Prowse is a better fit to play in a 2 with Hendo than Rice and Phillips and better in a 3 than either of those two also

Hoping Southgate takes Ward-Prowse as his player in place of Trent, Godfrey and the Brighton lad were both awful defensively, better using Walker or James as another CB if he plays a 3 at any point

The waistcoat tit needs to stop messing with Henderson. If hes not quite fit. don't force him to be fit. Hes a LFC player and we don't want him buggered.

Still can't believe Southgate didn't take Ward-Prowse, I like Rice, his passing from the No6 or controller position has improved, but it's far from Hendo and Ward-Prowse level, Phillips' passing is very good, but it's a different type of passing and he doesn't have the type of passing Hendo and Ward-Prowse have to release forwards and full backs.

Hendo and Ward-Prowse are the only 2 England players who have the type of passing that the England forwards and full backs club team mates have and regularly release them with, Hendo's not fully fit and he elected not to take Ward-Prowse who is also the best set piece taker England have in their ranks. They did well at set pieces in their last tournament 3 years ago with Trippier taking them, but the game moves on constantly and how people defend certain types or quality of delivery gets better, Trippier's delivery from corners doesn't come close to Trents or Ward-Prowses and his delivery from free kicks or ability to go directly for goal from them doesn't come close to Ward-Prowses either

I think not taking Ward-Prowse is a major gaffe, one of only 2 players with the right kind of passing to release your forwards and full backs and England's best set piece specialist, not clever at all
