Well done England you can only beat the team in front of you. But by fuck, that's the worst German team I've seen in my lifetime.
Their Next game is away in Rome I think they said, an absolute joke to make England travel so far !!

Didi saying Low has tarnished his legacy over the last 3-4 years of his reign with the German public, stunned the irish lads in studio.

    Great win for the English

Quite an enormous crowd of players near the goal and goalie too for this Swedish corner. Can't recall having seen anything quite like that for a long time.

    Good save by Swedish gk.
Could have been offside if it was a goal.

Well, Southgate defied all the critics and pundits, those same pundits are now lauding today's outing as a 'fantastic performance'. but in truth England barely strung 2 passes together, barely created anything apart from a couple of great chances Maguire should have buried from set pieces, the press wasn't very good at all, fair play on the result, it is a results based game, but will trying to be solid and give nothing away and hoping the quality players he has in the forward line will grab one of the rare chances England create when they regain possession in a good area and suddenly have options to attack they can't release through controlled possession or a specific plan by which to release them be enough?

Not many partisan fans for this game at hampden park.
Covid restrictions bar it unless they had the foresight and large enough wallet to book up for this match 2 weeks in advance and then undergo the required quarantine.

    Good game this.
Far more entertaining than the previous fare.
