I know Thiago improved for the last couple of months of last season. But all he seems to do is just pass the ball and they are obvious passes. What did he do at Bayern that he got the plaudits for?

He’s great at passing through the lines with disguise and perfect power to open up defences. But seeing as we are camped 30 yards from the opponents goal most of the time it’s been neutralised a lot in pl. He had a really good game v Everton in the game he got injured picking out accurate pinged passes to feet of forwards often with disguise on them. I think 19 is actually right about his longer passing though. Hendo does it better if less elegantly.
