Who else is playing a big No9 up top? I've missed most of the action as I've been looking after my father

Ukraine look quite good when they get a chance to attack, which isn't very often

Could be that fact netherlands are poor at the back too, but still.

HT 0-0 Fucking hell De Boer picked some shiitters in this Dutch squad, no wonder they flew a plane over the training ground telling him to play a 433 Depay, Malen and Promes would surely have bagged 3 or 4 between them that half in they has a front 3, why play that big lump up top when you have Malen on the bench, the lads a goalscorer. Gini Gravenberch and De Jong would be a pretty fine midfield 3 too

He's doing what a lot expected Southgate to do, playing 3 at the back because he doesn't trust or rate his defenders, he picked the fuckers, not sure what the fuss is about Maguire being out, he isn't any better than Stones or Mings, gets away with quite a lot of fouls because he plays for the filthy too

The Russians also had a 6ft 6 number 9 and the Swiss had a modest 6ft 2 up top.

England aren't playing with a big No9 up top, Kane drops off all the time, makes the play, then gets in the box, he's been doing that for the last 2 seasons, it's what he did in today's game and the warm up games too, it's what he's done for Spurs every game the last 2 seasons. England were better today because mount played very intelligently supporting all 3 forwards, making runs ahead of Kane when he was dropping off and never getting in their way or space AND they were looking for the balls in behind and over the top and had Sterling and Foden making the runs in behind ahead of Kane
