Ones technique looks sexier, does the no look, plays all sorts of balls, the other is more effective, stop wanking over technique Steveo lad, let's talk again when Thiago's passing starts amounting to something resembling better numbers of it actually being effective and especially as he was given license to operate as the more attacking mid, you have to say, the numbers are very disappointing
Me, I'm interested in what works and is most effective, that's what counts, Thiago was only really effective in the final third of the season when he started playing the ball earlier and more directly and releasing Mane Robbo and Trent, the balls Hendo played from No6 in 19-20, and Thiago's weren't as accurate either, players a number that were too flighty and whippy with top spin that went out of play beyond Robbo and Mane
Pointless posting youtubes of Thiago in a Bayern shirt, we don't play like that, we don't build up like that, we can't build up as slowly as Thiago's used to and we don't have the players making the Muller runs for him to pick out taking 4 or 5 players out of the game and in the league in particular, most teams don't commit that many to trying to press us higher for his speciality type of passing that he's most famed for to be on
Thiago is top quality, and he adapted brilliantly to start using the ball quicker and more directly in the last third of the season, prior to that he slowed our play and intensity down too much, his numbers still weren't very good at all though
