Sancho is the player ze Germans fear most.
He won't start and may not even feature at all.
Ze Germans are happy about that but don't understand it as he was one of the top players in the Bundesliga last season.

Yep BUT Keita was top in the Bundesliga too. Werner looked a world beater remember.. It is largely a one team league - Haaland has scored about a million goals there too. Not saying that means he is ordinary but I don’t rate that league to be honest. Plenty of good players play there but the general level of the league? Really not sure.

If they are really good and German - they tend to play for Bayern OR go to Spain or Italy.

Football management especially at the top end of international football is not as simple as picking the best individual players. If it really was that simple - some of us on here might even make the grade.

Ze Germans are in many ways like the English ( same tribe). They also don’t produce much genuine world class quality - certainly not for a nation of over 80 million people - but they have a world class mentality.they are built for tournament football. Something Klopp has brought to us.

Let’s hope we can batter the barStewards tonight though eh.

Not sure of his thinking there if that is true.
Perhaps he sees winning this game as a definite route to the final.
Do not under estimate this little teams that will come after this match.
They still have plenty of fire in their belly!

Manager Gareth Southgate says England aspire to play "champagne football" but that he has been pleased with the defensive solidity they have shown to qualify top of Euro 2020 Group D.

0-0 after 120 minutes, Germany win 5-4 on penalties. you knows it
