Just a reminder of how young Konate is, in anticipation of his first (inevitable) mistake with us when the season kicks in.

He's the same age Van Dijk was when he joined Celtic from Groningen.

Look forward to seeing him develop under Klopp. He can be a Monster for us if all goes well.

Was a very assured performance today away at OT - and only his second start.

That's the joke with the filthy and how the press hype any player they sign well in excess of their ability, we have 3 CBs who are miles better than any of theirs

Ł80 fucking million for that, Unreal mate. I remember a time it was us paying over the odds on half decent players.

Once upon a time you could buy Matip, Gomez and Van Dijk with that money

Their recruitment is so incoherent, it's absolutely wild. He'd be perfectly fine in the sort of set-up Mourinho would have had Chelsea play in crunch Champion's League games where you try not to concede over the two legs and one goal maybe decide the entire tie over 180+ minutes with a compact unit and a deep line, but they went and spunked 80 mil on a man knowing full well their fans expect to be on the front foot and they attempt to play a high line with him despite him being an oil tanker.

He'd be 5th or 6th choice at our club and he's the most expensive centre-back ever. It's beautiful!
