Can’t blame Karius really. Clinging onto every hope of still being a pro footballer. Read an article about Sermad Yesil, who’s now playing 5th tier German football and working in a factory.

Karius, First choice GK for LFC, reached a CL final (less said about his performance the better) and now what? Feel sorry for him to be honest

It still beggars belief the club thought him anywhere near good enough. I saw him live at Anfield v West Ham and he just didn’t look like a top level keeper. His positioning and even his body position were all totally wrong. How John Achterberg trained with him every day and thought he should have been playing is beyond me.

I was also at Anfield for Yesil’s debut in a league cup match v Fulham I think it was.
He looked totally out of his depth, particularly physically and was nowhere near ready for that game. He had a bad injury and was barely seen again

Thinking of next summer... because like several people have mentioned its unlikely we will sign anyone in Jan.
we will have at least 3 places spare . When Karius Origi and Adrian leave. Firminio is an interesting case. Looks like theres no sign of him signing a new contract. so he may leave as well.
Lets hope we make top 4. Thats my only concern..

AC Milan chiefs Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara would reportedly have in mind to propose a swap deal involving Kessie and Alcantara in January.

According to recent reports, Kessie has turned down the latest contract offer from Milan, alerting the likes of Liverpool.

Kessie’s current deal with Milan expires next summer, and the Serie A club are keen to hand fresh terms to the midfielder.

Those reports claimed that that Liverpool, Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain have all been alerted to Kessie’s situation and are considering making a move next summer.

And now according to Il Milanista, an 'equal exchange' would please everyone to avoid the worst case scenario of the player leaving as a free agent next summer.

But the ECHO understands Thiago remains an important part of the set-up under Jurgen Klopp.
