With Matip's fitness and durability being an on going issue, do you start Konate or Gomez next time out and try to spare Matip from some of that wear and tear?
All while risking harming the chemistry he clearly has with Virgil?

Or do you keep this going for as long as you can (until he falls apart) and see how much you can get from that partnership, while risking losing him to an injury later on during a run-in of games.

I think Matip plays if fit next week and then its international break so he gets a break for a few weeks.

Konate/Gomez will get plenty of game time as well its early days yet.

I do understand your concern but Matip has been as good as Van Djik last two games he will start next week hopefully.

Happy with the points and clean sheet and happy for the Greek Tsimikas. I can't see Robbo play on first eleven anytime soon. At defending Robbo still the best, but at crosses the Greek is better than Robbo.
