Going into the international break 5 or 6 points ahead of City (if everything went our way) would be really exciting, even with 35 fixtures left to go.

    Shame Arsenal can't be relied upon for much these days!

    wonder if arteta will end up being fav for early sack race....

    But they do have some "easy" fixtures after so may be fine.

    I said before the season started it will be him or Viera. I can easily see Palace going 6 or 7 games with hardly any points. They are awful.

    City have won the last 8 league meetings between the sides.
    That sequence has to change at some stage, eventually…surely

    The thing that likely saves Vieira for a bit is that there will be an appreciation for the mess of a situation he inherited - it's absolutely mad how many players were allowed to walk away.
