To an extent Ian but in a 3-3 draw, it would suggest the forwards had a better day than the defenders.

Forwards did well except Mané - 6 shots on target and 3 goals plus a goal line clearance & the save of the season.
The midfield were shocking - Brentford to be fair would have troubled any defence with their attack and such a lack of midfield in front

Agreed it wasnt a great day for us the positive is we got a point we probably lose that last season.
Ivan Toney also flashing his pins at us as well after the game not sure we'd target him but im certain other teams will be watching him.

Curtis Jones did well to be fair - only midfielder up to it yesterday.

Yeah he was he is under rated by some fans but he puts in good performances and goal is a huge boost for him.

Jones is gonna be a major talent, hopefully for us. Knows where the goal is, unlike a few of the others in midfield.

The Jones goal to be fair was extremely lucky as the Keeper appeared to have it covered until it was unnecessarily deflected over him.

True but by being brave enough to hit it instead of passing side ways meant that could happen.
We need to do this more often at times it was lucky as you say in some ways.
