    Roger Hunt R I P

    Gutted to read of his passing on SSN a few minutes ago. I have only had 2 heroes I looked up to, first it was him and then Dalglish. A legend for Liverpool and England and a 66 world Cup winner. RIP.

    A real gentleman and great Liverpool goal scorer.
    I absolutely loved the man.
    My sincerest condolences to all his family.

    Not wishing to lead the thread in any other direction, but the bereavement of players always brings to my mind how privileged we are that we remained at Anfield. The spirits are still there, the Soul has its place, the Heart hasn't stopped beating.

    Rest in peace Roger. What a contribution to the very essence.
