Well 2-2 FT much better second half, except for the defending in the centre of midfield, we worked incredibly hard and had to produce absolutely top top quality to score our 2, we gifted them 2 through a mixture of poor defending and poor play in front of the defence, Fab lets Jesus run past him to play Foden in, then Gomez let's Foden have the freedom of our right flank to fire in with the block falling to De Bruyne who Fab or Jones have to be picking up and Matip breaks our rule of defending, scoring an own goal in trying to block De Bruyne's effort Alisson had well covered

Mo MOTM all day long, the good news is, we scored 2 brilliant goals and can get better offensively and A LOT better defensively and in the pressing and knowing who we have to pick up or go to challenge to make an angle of our defenders to dispossess their player should he go past us, as Fab should have done to halt Jesus run, all it required was to go to challenge him in a position he could only go past him one way, straight into Virgil, job done

There's a lesson to be learned there about our trying to sit back, we suck at it, we could have got undone by their late corner and that was through sitting completely off their player with the ball giving the runners all day to make runs and their player all day to pick any one of them

As ever, all the focus on the next game v Watford, administering a bumming, getting the win and another vital 3 points

Fab was a disaster again today, missed an open goal, constantly let the press get played through taking poor decisions, because he's a destroyer, not a DM or midfielder, his positioning, knowing who he has to pick up, where the danger is, how to block the lines and where and when he needs to hold a position and block the lines is absolutely atrocious and always has been, the lad simply isn't a midfielder and never will be, fantastic destroyer when the nature of the game lends itself to us having a midfielder of those attributes, but we mostly play a pressing game

What's wrong with singing a players name? They need to know they're being pushed by the fans. I'll actually eat some humble pie here and agree with LEGS from last season. If we didn't have any fans in the stadium today, we would have lost that game. By some margin

No we didnt but why should we pay him £200k a week at his age ?

Ox/Keita wouldnt be here either if contract had ran out.

We got outplayed by and large, weren't brave enough which is my main gripe and sadly too many sloppy passes/second to things/second balls/first touches fluffed.
