Absolutely true Kev - it is greed. No point sugar coating it.

I am a self confessed greedy sod where Liverpool FC is concerned. I. cannot justify it morally. I just want us to win everything.

Agree to a large extent kev but … we recently won the Champions League, Premier League, European Super Cup and the Club World Cup within a 12 month period. Where we not the best in the world at that stage?

Yes and Man City were excellent yesterday. Their first goal was extremely clinical and displayed the highest quality.

Most people, myself included, think they are a soulless club - they weren’t before but they are now. Beating them will be sweeter for doing it the hard way if we are able to do that.

Fixed that for you and I might at, THAT is THE most sensible and accurate thing you have ever posted on this forum in my 17 years here

Except you have written your own words under my name..

Pretty lame thing to do too.

It’s Hendo that lacks technique if we want to have that discussion.

We see the Hendo that England gets now - the one we had for years. Needs a player to pick up the pieces.

He will have to change up his game again in light of Gini’s departure - and the fact we have no natural successor

In this game Fab was indeed poor but Henderson was an irrelevance. Chasing shadows on several occasions especially by Bernardo Silva (genuine quality) - failed to do his own job or even help out a stretched, out of position and aged Milner.

Henderson is way off the player he was in our title winning season. Age and a series of niggling injuries appear to have taken their toll.

Could say Jones got a brilliant assist for Salah's wonder goal..

    That really is about it.
