If we bought him on a transfer, the fee would be £100 - £200 million imo.
He can play for us at a reduced fee or play for an Oil Club or a Real Madrid side that currently are top of a League without a massive historic rival running them close to keep it interesting.

Depends what he wants. We are one of the most stable clubs in World Football and our star is still rising. If he doesn't want that, fine - he misses out and we continue to find alternatives that, whilst individually not as brilliant, fit our system cohesively and outperform our expectations.

Really rather relaxed about our current position in World Football.

While I understand being relaxed about our standing it’s really only there because we’ve go a manager that almost immediately wrapped a comfort blanket around us of knowing we are or will soon be the absolute shiiiiit. That won’t last for too much longer. I hope klopp goes for 2 more years on top of his remaining contract. If he’s dosent though, look at our greatest rivals post Ferguson. In a frvking bigger heap than I am and I mm practicing whiskey tasting on a bottle of shite after sampling the great stuff after getting engaged over the weekend. We’re fecked when kloppo leaves sid

    To address the last sentence.

Klopp is so good that there will inevitably be almost no chance of sustaining the same level we have under his leadership.

However, to say we're "fecked" when he goes - it depends. There are certainly levels to this sort of thing.

You used our rivals as an example. That was a culmination of factors.

    - Fergie allowed the squad to deteriorate, squeezing the last of the juice out of them before his departure. I don't think Klopp leaves us in the same mess.

    - Moyes, the replacement, changed way too many backroom staff at once. I don't think our owners permit a complete overhaul of departments dedicated to data analytics.

    - Man United have scatter-gun transfer approach of big names past their best, purchased irrespective of the style of play and relevance to the fit to the system, with the Manager having most of the say in transfers targets, so far as we can see. Liverpool have a specialised team that present options that fit to the Manager and target players with minimal risk, such as young targets that can still be sold if they don't work out or players that are bought under what we perceive to be their market value, based on our player analysis.

    - Man United's fanbase is toxic and demands instant success. The subsequent pressure leads to incredibly stupid decisions. Liverpool fans, while not always perfect, have Weathered the storms of a few transitional periods and will give a Manager their fair shot unless evidence suggests things are a disaster (Hodgson, end of Brendan's reign) which creates a better environment within which to look at transfers for their playing value, over "names".

When Klopp departs, we will likely have an excellent squad for the next Manager to work with, as opposed to the mish-mash that Klopp inherited. We will have a bigger stadium that helps generate more revenue and we will still be a popular side which will keep people wanting to see us televised.

Will there be an initial drop-off, perhaps falling from the top two spots to 3rd/4th? Probably. However, provided we don't yo-yo in and out of the Champion's League spots (3rd one season, 6th the next) we should remain stable enough to maintain a reasonable advantage over some of our rivals and be able to continue to build from that reasonable position, rather than fall off a cliff.

Lets hope Klopp can give us another year to make it 10.. In the process maybe we'll find someone with the same charisma.. Henderson would make a good manager and he gets upmost respect from our squad of players..he's been here and seen how Klopp runs the joint.. I honestly don't want Gerrard. But we'll see.

Looking at Mo Salahs record. hes only 8 behind Michael Owen. 150 goals in 233 Appearances. amazing stats.
Mane's stats are terrific as well. 1 in just over 2 games.

Ferguson was also worth at least 12 points to United every season in points they got they shouldn't and in points officials took off their closest rivals and challengers in games not even involving United, that's why I so pleased about the arrival of VAR, they do get away with the odd very wrong decision, but it stops them getting away with the incredible number of plain wrong decisions they used to hand out every weekend

Saw it immediately after he left, with Moyes, then Van Gaal, then Mourinho, loads of decisions under all those managers when the right decision was made and they got nothing that the officials would have given them something for when he was in charge
