Been a kind enough set of fixtures but still, clawing their way towards the Champion's League spots bit by bit.
They've improved massively since those first 3 league games, definitely look to have turned a corner a bit. Maybe Partey will start having more influence after that first season.

Smith Rowe has been their driving force in midfield.

Just relegate Norwich now and have done with it.

Aye, he looked one of a few good players they had last season. He has a bright future for sure.

I got slaughtered for saying Arteta was taking Arsenal forwards last season, they were the better side in many of their games and controlled many of them and somehow ended up with no points or only 1 and also got a pretty rough ride from VAR in a few of them. Early days yet this season, but Arteta is for me really trying to do what Jurgen did, he has an ethos and a way of playing and because of Arsenal's limited finances it is taking him as long to get the players he wants for his ethos and system as it took Jurgen.

Unfortunately for Arteta, it doesn't get any easier, and trying to do what Jurgen did beginning 4 years later than Jurgen did and with the tops teams far stronger and the sides aspiring to be top four sides far stronger and now Newcastle having got sugar daddy owners to likely make it more difficult still, it's an incredibly big ask
