    Your team v Man United

Jesus. Atletico are such a devious lot. Nerves are shot. Onto the big match.

    .....................Alisson

    Trent.....Matip....Van Dijk... Robertson

    ....................Fabinho

    ...........Henderson......Ox

    ...Salah.........Firmino......Mane

Tempting to pick Milner again and no objections if he is in, but I do like to rotate a bit.

    Alisson

    Trent Matip Van Dijk Robertson

    Milner Henderson Thiago/Jones

    Salah Firmino Mane

I expect our lads to administer a bumming, get the win and another absolutely vital 3 points and unfortunately end Ole's tenure as the opposition's manager as they ended Mourinho's

I also thought of Thiago or Jones, but what is their injury status?
I would put Fab ahead of Milner btw. I know he's not your cup of tea.
Thought he screened well tonight when he came on and I like Jordan getting freed up.

Midfield was poor again. Henderson is way off form, Fabinho definitely improved the defending from midfield in the second half.

Midfield was poor but I think all departments aside from Alisson were too. Our passing was way off all game, really slack and nobody stood out at all.

They were down to 10 men the majority of the second half Miller and we had tweaked to try and stop the overloads, when we went forward it was very clear to see we had one forward inside, one on the line, as opposed to both inside and both our full backs quick to get to any player they were looking to find in space their side

We won the last meeting against these, playing much MUCH deeper with other midfielders much closer to Fab, but he still managed to lose Fernandes loads of times, notably for their early opening goal if you'd care to review the extended highlights of said meeting.

I'll never rate Fab until Jurgen gets him in a room for 4 hours a day with a member of the video analysis team and shows him all the instances of him doing the wrong thing charging into an area he shouldn't be leaving another wide open and the player he should be staying with and picking up wide open, failing to spot and track runners and also showing him it done right by Hendo and Gini and Fabinho takes that education on board and starts making better decisions, making the decisions of a No6 rather than those of a midfield destroyer

Mate, you’re on your own, I love Hendo but he is way WAY off form.
    As for Keita… no thanks.
