I'm just thinking, if we'd really gone for it we could have put 6, 7, or 8 past them. We were that good on Sunday.
Ole would have without doubt be out of the door.

I wouldn't worry about it, when we have to replace Klopp (I see an extension beyond 2024) it'll be a case of finding a manager for the squad he turns over.

If Klopp has us at this level there shouldn't be an issue attracting a manager to carry on with his group.
It's upto him to carry on as he's done and make sure he's handing over a great group of players.

What's mad as well is how quickly a lot of their players could either waste their peak, or go beyond their peak, at a time where they might (might...) miss out on Champion's League football next season -

    - Ronaldo will be 37 this season - this season, not next.
    - Heaton will turn 36 too.
    - Cavani will turn 35.
    - Mata will turn 34.
    - Matic will turn 33.
    - De Gea will turn 31, which seems mad.
    - Jones will turn 30.
    - Varane, Telles, Pogba, Maguire, Lingard and Fred will all turn 29 - with Varane possibly being a bit like Rooney in that he is "old early" due to the years of football in his legs at first choice.
    - Fernandes and Bailly will be turning 28 as well.

In terms of their age, this side should be at the peak of its powers NOW so their main hope to make the most of this assembly of individual talents that aren't coherently coached to a particular system is to get someone in who can do that and do it quickly, plus get them to a level above sides coached by Tuchel, Guardiola and Klopp that are further ahead in their cohesive development.

Nothing is impossible in football, but bloody Hell, the task at that club is absolutely enormous.

Rashford, Greenwood and Sancho is the basis of a young, three-pronged attacking unit that a top coach could get a tune out of and they could keep it together for 5+ years due to the age profile, but they have very little else going for their squad really.

Bring back Phil Jones and Maguire combo!

I would pay money to watch them.
