For fun.. if you was Eddie howe (newcastle transfers)

    Who you going to sign?

    Van De beek
    LingarD?
    Dean henderson?
    Alli?

    Ramsey?
    Sterling ?

    Sarr?
    James Tarkowski ?
    Coutinho?
    One of utd's CB flops?

I have a feeling they might end up with a few of these, either on loan to end of season with option to buy or outright.

Think at the moment sterling is the best player they could get, possibly... until they improve.

Raising the club's profile would be the first port of call. Would probably start with famous talents that are due to be free on a Bosman.

Suarez, Kessie, Di Maria, Lacazette and Insigne would all be available in the Summer so I'd probably look there to start with - not necessarily signing all of them, but in terms of talent/profile, just to get things started. Shirts flying off shelves, buzz around the ground etc.

They'll have a "Mark Hughes period" where transfers are a bit hit-and-miss and attracting the absolute mega-stars (Mbappe and Haaland perhaps equivalent-ish to City's Kaka attempt) probably won't happen, but the tier just below that, supplemented with some players that may not be satisfied with game time at their clubs (Ox, Origi, Sterling) would be the beginning of mid-table/threatening Europa League spots then go from there.

Jan will be tough to get big names, summer is dependent on if they get relegated

210m and I think they could have a deal. Offer 250m and I'd even think about letting them have Ox too.
