It seems like Brendan Rodgers and Zidane are the two most likely, according to bookies. As much as I liked Zidane as a player, I think he might be a bit of a car crash as utd manager. Doesn't speak the language really, and he says himself that he doesn't actually coach. Which is something utd desperately need. I wouldn't be unduly worried about Zidane going there, He has no experience of the intensity of the premier league. Him and Ronaldo would set up the team to suit Ronaldo. But I think non pressing game is gone from English football for the moment.
I agree
I thought R Madrid won those European cups despite him managing them. I saw no signs of genius

Brendan would be funny. He’s an absolute car crash in Europe.
As for ZZ, not sure he could turn round the mess that is their current squad, it’s not like rocking up at the Bernabeu.
Utd today were a disgrace, absolutely abysmal. Its great to see but he's not lasting much longer surely.
In recent “discussions” about whether Henderson as a captain was more or less affective than Stevie G, I said that I felt many players shrank in the presence of the great man, rather than as with Henderson being motivated and driven on to perform to their best.
Well there’s a current Utd analogy, look at how Fernandes has performed since Ronaldo rocked up at Old Trafford, totally anonymous.
The Athletic reporting they are currently negotiating his exit details. We’ll miss you Ole, come back anytime.
