    Serie A

Last thread was closed due to exceeding 100 posts.

This one won't reach that tally easily as there's a relative lack of interest and totally understand it will close eventually when it crawls to the 100-point mark.

In the meantime, it's nice to see Napoli and AC Milan battling for the title so far (as opposed to Juventus or Inter) and a special shout-out to Mourinho's Roma side that are languishing in 8th spot at present, which could (if things continue) prove to be Maureen's last job of any relevance - perhaps the MLS or something for him next.

Good entertaining game from Mourinho's Roma winning 2-0 to take them up to 5th in a tightly contested table.

    Juventus lose again.

They have a big task on their hands to get Champion's League football next season.

Things changing quickly - Roma still 5th, but 9 points off a tightly contested cluster of four sides at the top - indeed, just 4 points separate the top 4 teams before that big drop-off to Roma.

Atalanta now look right in the mix after beating Napoli today, whereas it had looked like one of AC Milan, Inter or Napoli were nailed on.

Doesn't say much for the quality of Serie A when a second string Liverpool team with nothing to play for makes the league leaders who are desperate for a win look distinctly second best at home

Thought exactly the same cobber. They didnít turn the heat up on us at any stage in a must win game in front of their own fans. They went out with a whimper

    Roma 3-1 up against Juventus.

    Ends up Roma 3-4 Juventus.

Roma get a penalty to get it to 4-4 and fail to convert.

    Game finished Roma 3-4 Juventus.

Throws up some great stuff does the Serie A.

    A penny for Mourinho's thoughts.

Would you really pay that much?
