As was said earlier, they will be trying to win as instructed by FSG to get the prize money.

Plus, no English side has ever won 18 points in the group stages.

Klopp's first time out at the San Siro, ca$h and a record to play for.
Hope Porto qualify in second place 10 points behind us

Yeah true but there is midweek games every week up to new year its a HUGE risk in this match to play our main players.

The cl game and efl quarterfinal game offer chances to rest a few of the mainstays I suppose

Remember that they had originally said that this was the (proverbial) 'Group of Death'

We just didn't realize at the time that they meant,......"....for others

That would be just too lovely, wouldn't it!

If we do our job against Milan, Porto only need a draw. They'd be unwise to play for one of course, but if they could go all-out against Atletico and get the first goal then engage in a combination of Dark Arts, time management and possession, they might prevent Atletico from scoring two.

Dortmund are out now aren't they? A shame - would have been a fun tie.

That goal was pure Thiago by the way. I don’t think anyone else in world football would hit it like that

Ox had a good game too. He’s played well lately. Starting to think maybe a forward is number 1 priority. If only naby ox and Thiago were more injury resistant.

Great strike from a superb technician but there are definitely others still around with that and more.

This is just a small sample - he hit quite a few like Thiagos in other matches but these were in arguably more meaningful games. This technique is up there with Messi
