    Good points Sid.

Miles is clearly relative. Miles off the pace, in this instance is essentially a 2 game swing. 2 games back Arsenal could have leapfrogged us and If Spurs win their game in hand they will be just 6 points (2 game swing) behind us.

We’ve won 9 games from 14 Arsenal 7 and Spurs 7 (from 13) - even United have won 6. It’s not that many miles really.

A brief look back to our position last Christmas compared to the end of January should highlight how fast things can change. We have a hugely busy period coming up - half of which will be without Salah and Mané!

No wonder Klopp doesn’t seem quite as
cock-a-hoop as many are in here

On the bright side Salah and Mane will only miss Brentford at home and Palace away even if it's a Senegal v Egypt afcon final

That's great (obviously not great but miles better than expected).. I thought they would miss a ton of games.

“Miles off the pace” was referring to the state of the two teams rather than a points total reference

There's a huge gap between the top 3 and the rest. Of course every dog has it's day like West ham the out week but over the season we're miles ahead.

Yep, West Ham have really struggled since beating us, as have Brentford since holding us to 3-3.. apart from against Everton but that’s not really much of a challenge these days, to anyone.

Indeed and it is absolutely true. Things can change fast though.

Strangely Arsenal's defence had looked very good until we beat them, last night they looked all over the place.

I knew they'd hit the skids after beating us, they put everything into that performance. It's already their high point.
    They'll lose again this weekend.
