Watched MOTD for the highlights. Big Al saved us a couple of times. They were really talking up Thiago. Did he have a really good game? Looked like he made 2 or 3 key mistakes.

I agree Ali and Robbo by far our best players.

I dont think Thiago was great in the first half at all he was much better in second half.

Its typical MOTD highlight reel show all the bits they want.

Thiago is a top class player we know that and at times it wont work and it didnt for him a few times.

Btw I was looking at the Inside Anfield (Southampton) clip on youtube today. When the bus arrives at the beginning, it no longer seems to have the slogan This Means More, a slogan I never liked personally, feels a bit arrogant. Have they stopped using it now?

Watched the game but thought i'd watch the highlights on MOTD too and paid attention to Konate, you can tell he still has a lot to learn, much like porto it was always his "side" that they got through, from what i've seen.

I hope it doesn't cost us later on in the knockout stages,or in the run in for hopefully the Prem.

Because matip will get injured at some point, hopefully they both get rotated with each other based on who we're playing.

I was just wondering, is Clarence Seedorf the only player to win the champion's league with three different clubs? I seem to remember that stat from a while back. Thiago could be the next! He seems like a great lad as well. Very intense, intelligent, funny too.
