He was even more of a nuisance for the BS in the first.

Few look closely at these things but Hendo’ ruins what should be a simple pass and Jota rescues the move and possession to feed Hendo to get the assist for Salah’s first - and the most important goal of the game.

Jota was everywhere across the attacking third. Everton were never given a moment of peace.

If Bobby or Mané put in a shift like that - they are MOTM with half this forum.

The touch/take & finish both with his weaker foot.
Agree. It was fabulous. Turned him inside out and no keeper is saving that.

Did Virgil shake hands with Pickford at the end of the game? I’m really surprised that the media weren’t focusing on it.
I bet you can squeal like a pig!

Booing Virgil sums them up. Friendly Derby my arse. Cannot stand them, so happy when we give them a proper seeing to.

McCoist (who is always a good listen in commentary I find and always has nice things to say about us, a real change from Tyler etc) commented on it too - something to the effect of "getting some boos there Van Dijk, that'll really show him for getting himself injured last season" - tone/delivery isn't something that communicates as well in the written word, but he was certainly underlining how pathetic it was of their fans.
Yeah I like McCoist and Ian wright. they both seem fair and unbias with how they mention us

Not sure, but loved how he was allowed to take a free kick against trex-arms. I love the mentality of our players.. Even Jota got stuck into the bitters

He often took them when at Celtic : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKFi-optIVk&ab_channel=ElliotC
Old Celtic buddy of mine would say he was a totally different class even then.

Hasn't been a friendly Derby for many, many years. I think it probably was more so in the 80's when both were doing well. I've been to a few in the late 90's to the mid 2000's and they are as bad as the Mancs when it comes to Hillsboro and Heysel chants.
