Watford have reportedly refused to release the striker, who was set to play in Nigeria's squad.
Napoli's Victor Osimhen is also out of the team after testing positive for Covid-19.
Why can't we grow a fucking spine for once.

we are liverpool football club, not fucking norwich.
Spend 30m on Konate, outgoings may have helped pay for the expansion 60m was it?
There is no excuse to not spend in January. Blasphemous if the don’t open their pockets to help Klopp and the squad. Staying on the heels of city may lead them to break under pressure. Not like we’d win it, but weirder things have happened…
The Stands and what wasn’t recouped from Melwood (kirkby) are all paid for by the club. So infrastructure does hit players outgoings. So in truth they are increasing the value of their asset using our own money.
Very shrewd - that’s why Henry alone has just added £600,000,000 to his personal net wealth since April!
The value of the asset is what matters here NOT what Liverpool football club wins. This is the single biggest problem.
He's improving the club on and off the field. Which is good if we are looking for a wealthier owner to buy the club.
Or if fans were to buy it, having the infrastructure complete would be a bonus imo.
So far it seems people have been won over by the strategy of other owners. Those buying smaller clubs and investing in making them successful. City, PSG, Chelsea, Newcastle, Everton.
Klopp is mainly responsible for that CC. Without he CL win and the title we are just another decade deeper into winning nothing major.
We won the CL in 2005 with Moore’s and Parry FFS owners who declared themselves unfit and unable - then We came so close to winning a title against a monster United side - were rated at Europe’s number 1 club too under Hicks and Gillett - worst owners in history. The fact that with Jurgen Klopp we managed to take a CL and a Title is testimony to the manager.
They struck gold with him. If he goes to United - we are in a different universe:
The infrastructure improvements while much needed and LONG overdue are at best - middling. A middling redevelopment so far. Still we shall be smaller than the mighty Spurs once the Anfield road end is competed. A training ground that while admittedly far better than Melwood - is still not really at the highest level, not compared to Spurs or City, even Chelsea’s
now aging setup near me is more impressive. Everything is done below ‘best in class’ because these are ‘middle in class’ profit seeking investors, not passionate owners.

Agree fully but that last sentence absolutely nails it.
They are shit and just by doing what they should do ( like any busines should ) they have some fans well and truly hoodwinked.
Only when Klopp goes and we sink like a fucking rock in a pond will we understand how they've absolutely "Toried" LFC.
But it is not in their commercial interest to see LFC sink like a rock in a pond, surely.
