Anfield next for Stevie G. His name will be chanted at full volume. Legend.

After that we’ll need to be on our game. He’s got Villa playing at a tempo that could cause us problems.

3 wins out of 4 for Gerrard, only defeat v City, taking over a team who had just lost 4 on the bounce.

Glad for Stevie. I just hope he doesn't take points next weekend. 😁

I'm delighted for him - I like the vigour with which his teams play.

Let's see how he does over the next couple of seasons before we get too excited mind. Brendan had Leicester showing great promise for a bit and he is currently guiding them to a continued inability to break into the Champion's League spots.

The second/third seasons of Gerrard's reign at Villa will tell us much more than the first - though his start is undeniably very impressive and he absolutely deserves big credit.

I look at it this way if would I rather watch a Rodgers team finish 12th or a Hodgson/Big Sam team finish 12th.

He isnt a great manager but he is ok there is also only so much you can do with average/good players.

We are blessed as we have Klopp but in two years time if he doesnt stay then we could have a problem.

We are not alone City will not get a better manager than Pep either.
Seemingly Rodgers is the post-pep candidate for city. Seems a bit mad.

Wonder how people view Rodgers compared to Tuchel ?

No expert on Tuchel, he's doing a good job at Chelsea but I think he was lucky to get the PSG job.
Hadn't got much over BR when he got that job

You're not alone. Would have been better a few years ago, mind - tighter shorts.
